November 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Asdfindia", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or have the appearance of shared use. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 18:21, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Mufka, thanks for the warning notice. A-Aravind; S-Sudhakar; D-Dhinesh Raj and F-Francis Densil Raj. As we are colleagues from childhood, I(Sudhakar) am using this as my nickname. And more over, this is the name which we have in all the events. As I am representing India, I have a suffix name letting india. Am an perfect individual and am not an organzation or bot to append changes. Let me if this still is against the name policy of wikipedia. Asdfindia (talk) 18:39, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
What is your relationship to Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties (ASDF) of India? If you are Sudhakar, who is Manikandan? -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 18:57, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Who are these names that I mention? Are they very common names in India? Seems suspicious that they both appear on this page. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:23, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
They are very common names in India. Arvind is one of the example for the same. My full name is Sudhakar Prasad. Am noway related to the person mentioned over there. To add, I haven't even saw that person till now.
Why did you sign your name as Manikandan here? -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:32, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
I do agree your point on this User:Mufka. It happened when I was updating the Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties page. Mistakenly I have pasted the name of this page over there. After that, I didn't take any step to remove it because I don't want to keep on editing the Kubigula's talk page. You can see the previous message signed properly.
So even though the primary topic on which you are writing happens to have the initials (and web site) ASDF, you maintain that the source of your username is "A-Aravind; S-Sudhakar; D-Dhinesh Raj and F-Francis Densil Raj"? And that it is also a coincidence that you are a member of ASDF as mentioned below? -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:41, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
The ultimate goal for me to become a member of this body is importantly the name of the body which reads ASDF. There are more than 200,000 members in this body as similar to IEEE and ACM which has the HQ at US. Am just one among the 200,000 members. If you are more precise about for me being a member of ASDF, then there should be no wikipedian writing about World or Nature or something like that as they would be associated with the same. I wrote about this article, as I was a member of this. Asdfindia (talk) 19:46, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:COI. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:05, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Again it comes here, am neither the individual associated with this association as employee nor head of the same to promote it in any way. My annual subscription ends by this 25th November, 2012. In my point of view, I really don't find that this article will be misleading any activity nor it promotes specially than others. All the contents here are found from various sources. If you feel that still it is in COI, go ahead in the speedy deletion of this page. But I will be keep on contributing to other pages of Wikipedia.
I won't make a final COI judgement, but it should be reviewed. I'll submit it for review at the COI Noticeboard. A determination will be made there as to whether the article is written in an unbiased manor. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:23, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Can the user reveal his membership ID? I don't find any such member existing in our internal database! Requested not to play with the names of our office people. All the names quoted above are in a way or other relating to our office members. Pdykkh007 (talk) 19:01, 20 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rschen7754, there is nothing between me and Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties. Am afterall just a member of the same. As an administrator, you can even delete the same. I found many occurances of the same online. That was the reason why I created a page for the same.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

No connection with either the association or its President. As a member, I wanted the same information to be online

For anyone reviewing, I didn't realize the "spam" template referred to link spamming; this is more along the lines of a COI block. That in addition to the suspicious ArbCom run led me to the hardblock. --Rschen7754 19:20, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Can't you remove this block? Or should it go for review process? Nominating for ArbCom will lead to hardblock??? Asdfindia (talk) 20:52, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
You'll need to wait for another admin to review the block. Please be patient. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 20:55, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'm confused... you say "no connection" with this group, but then you say you're a "member". That sounds like a connection to me. --Kinu t/c 23:24, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
No connection in the sense, am not a part of Management Committee or Governing Council or any Administrative role. This association roles out few memberships for the general public and am a member of the same. This is one of the body found globally in different zones and am just a member for which I am paying them to retain my membership.

You will definitely need to change this username, as it fails the username policy. Here are a few key questions:
