Jack Vance edit

I blinked and missed it: what was that about a "racist PC photo"? —Tamfang 07:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Nothing of importance. Just an annoying, ideologically impregnated photo they had lobbied into a tag. Arvin Sloane 11:20, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Stop edit

Arvin, would you control yourself better and be more civil on the global warming page? In addition to the personal insults, and making yourself look like an idiot, you are giving skeptics a worse name than they already have in the global warming community. Don't ruin groups of people. — [Mac Davis] (talk) (Desk|Help me improve)

  • I assure you that I am in full control of myself. I don't know what "personal insults" you're talking about. If you are talking about groups of people like you, presuming to teach others rules of good behavior while following none, I'd be glad to "ruin" a group or two. Block evasion edit

You were blocked yesterday for trolling, personal attacks, and vandalism yesterday, as noted on the talk page of the IP address you were using. The block is for 24 hours and it will be reset each time you attempt to evade the block by changing your IP address. In the future, please conduct yourself according to the rules of Wikipedia. Gamaliel 04:40, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't know, there may be another person using the same IP address and the same user name. In any case, you are the one who vandalized and trolled in the first place, dear "Gamaliel." Realizing the you goofed, you have engaged in a petty revenge behavior, removing perfectly legitimate material (for example, scientific quotes on Global Warming talk page). As a reason for removing them, you posted "block evasion," while at the time I have posted them, you haven't blocked me yet (time stamps in "History" prove this). Therefore, you have broken the Wikipedia rule. Can you block yourself? User:Arvin Sloane 11:02, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
A different user writing in your style and commenting on articles you have previously edited signs your name? An unlikely coincidence, and one which you could easily avoid by sticking to a single account. It is standard procedure to remove all edits by editors evading blocks, and your edits to Talk:Global warming were made 12 hours after your original block, so your claims make no sense. Gamaliel 13:14, 15 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
This is so ridiculous. I quit helping Wilipedia from now on, and using it, too. Good by. 69.19.14.39 10:15, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
