Haier edit

I think you need to start from scratch. Even if the text had not been copyrighted, it was written in a highly promotional tone, eg Haier is a global leader in innovative smart living solutions. Its mission is to create home appliances that anticipate the fast-changing needs of consumers in more than 100 countries around the globe — pure spam. There is also far too much promotion of the products.

Although you give information about the company such as employee numbers and financial data, much of it is unreferenced. It's OK to use the company as ref for this sort of factual information. I suggest you write a draft in a sandbox initially, and I'll be happy to look it over if you want. Note that section heading should not include the company name, it's assumed that you are writing about the subject of the article Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:52, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dear Arun3000h: I am sorry to have taken so long to respond; I have been on vacation with very little Internet access. I agree completely with Jimfbleak's comments above. The article should not be expressed as an advertisement with vague praising words and claims, but instead say in plain language what the company actually does (design and manufacture home appliances?), when and where it was founded, where its head office is, whether it's a private or public company, and other straightforward facts. It may be that you are so closely connected to the company that you are unable to write about it objectively. —Anne Delong (talk) 17:20, 4 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jimfbleak & Anne Delong, Thank you so much for your feedback. I've been working on the article and re-written parts of it. Just need a little help on how to submit the article for your review before I submit the final draft for publishing?

I had to nominate the article for deletion. Four sections were entirely or substantially taken off the website. Also, even in the non-copyvio parts, "exhibits Haier’s range of innovative solution." is too advertisement-like to be on Wikipedia. Origamite 04:58, 18 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Haier India edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Haier India requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from haier.com/in/about_haier. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
