Hello, I am a new Wikipedia editor. I work at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in the Spencer Art Reference Library as the Public Services Librarian. I am interested in contributing to articles on art and design and look forward to working as part of the Wikipedia community. I'm open to feedback and suggestions from more experienced editors.

Event page

edit
  • Hello, thanks for creating this page! I hope this event goes well. Just a recommendation - when you create an event like this, it's best to add categories for the event so it can be tracked (I've done this), and add it to the calendar and template. This allows people to find and track it, and also will likely increase the likelihood of remote support from experienced contributors who can correct mistakes on pages created and give feedback to new contributors. Hope this is helpful to you, let me know if any thoughts or questions. Blythwood (talk) 00:22, 1 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Thank you for hosting the Meetup event! Will there be a post/edit to show to coordinate artist research assignments? (Will there be online access to the signup (artist assignment) sheet passed around at the meetup?) StacyGriffith (talk) 04:18, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

WIKI/KCAfricanAmericanArtists listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect WIKI/KCAfricanAmericanArtists. Since you had some involvement with the WIKI/KCAfricanAmericanArtists redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 00:46, 13 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Jungjin Lee, Wind 04-54.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 22:45, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jungjin Lee, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages South Korean, The void and FNAC. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:45, 2 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Jungjin Lee, Wind 04-54.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Jungjin Lee, Wind 04-54.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:36, 13 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Deletion pending for File:Portrait of the artist Jungjin Lee.jpg

edit

Hello, Artshadows. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Portrait of the artist Jungjin Lee.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 15:40, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm JalenFolf. An edit you recently made to Sarah Miriam Peale seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so.
