Barnstar edit

The Barnstar of Good Humor
I noticed your contributions from the history of the Wikipediholism test. Outstanding work, now what I only need to do is to take the test again... ~Iceshark7 21:39, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lucky you! edit

The Original Barnstar
Hi! I saw the many positive differences and contributions made to many California State Routes, especially with the ones in Orange County, California. Good luck, and hope you have fun! Alittlegoo 23:01, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Aliso Niguel logo.gif edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Aliso Niguel logo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. thanks for your note edit

You might ask your fellow students why they think the book is so negative. Both the good characters AND the bad characters are all students at the school. There are as many good kids as bad. I find it interesting that some of you have chosen to identify ONLY with the bad guys. Why not identify with Paski, Tina, Chris, Kerani, Keoni, Haley, or Sydney? There are really only two bad kids in the entire book, Jessica and Chad.

It is tough being in high school. Peer pressure is overwhelming, and I'd imagine that if it were suddenly "cool" at your school to hate me, then kids would jump on the bandwagon.

But if your goal is to show that students at your school are NOT petty, mean, nasty or cruel, attacking an author on Wikipedia, without having read the book, is not a good way to do it. You simply end up strengthening the very allegation you are trying to disprove - ie, you show yourselves to be hateful while demanding to be seen otherwise.

Here in Phoenix, public school already began.

I would be happy to send you a signed copy of the paperback in the spring. You can judge for yourself.

Alisa

Image copyright problem with Image:Vandalismletter.gif edit

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Vandalismletter.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 16:37, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

California State Route 78 edit

Please be careful when you edit junction tables; some of the edits you made damaged the junction table. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 21:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Another barnstar for you edit

The WikiProject Interstate Highways Contributor Barnstar
For tireless effort to completing the huge table for List of auxiliary Interstate Highways, I hereby award you this barnstar. Thanks for making the Interstate highway articles look good! I also love reading Interstate articles. :D Alittlegoo 17:18, 24 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Exit lists edit

"This column is optional for routes that are within a single county." --NE2 16:54, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

What's messed up? --NE2 16:59, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you did. Please show me what's messed up. --NE2 17:01, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes; it looks fine to me. Try reloading the page; I recently screwed up template:jct for about a minute while editing it. --NE2 17:03, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia:Be bold agrees with my decision; there's no need to include a column when it applies to the whole route. --NE2 17:10, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I already explained it; there's no need to include a column that applies to the whole route. You're needlessly wikilawyering; please stop. --NE2 17:14, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Uh... you added the column to both. --NE2 17:18, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

There is no need to include the extra column; please follow WP:ELG and don't revert war. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 17:19, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is often not consistent. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing. Note that there is a featured article - Kansas Turnpike - that doesn't even have an exit list. --NE2 17:22, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Removing stuff from your talk page edit

Just so you know- you are not supposed to remove stuff from your talk page. Once it gets old, you may archive it per Wikipedia:Archive. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 17:28, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

As far as I know, it can be rude to remove stuff, but there's nothing wrong with it. And when it's from a bot, I can't see how it would be rude. --NE2 17:50, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Interstate 98 edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Interstate 98, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. master sonT - C 22:11, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

State specific Interstate sheilds on main routes edit

Please do not add State Specific interstate shields to the main interstate highway articles such as here. These are to be used on state detailed articles like Interstate 80 in California. The main routes need to be neutral to the country as far as the shields are concerned. Thank you master sonT - C 04:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

USRD Inactivity check and news report edit

Hello, Artisol2345. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:

  1. Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
  2. There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 23:11, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Uhh... I don't really do well on Wikipedia projects. Maybe you should ask someone else. Did you mass mail this message?
03:24, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
This was mass-produced with AWB... but you need to update your information or you will be removed from the project. --Rschen7754 (T C) 03:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I'll remove my name myself.
