Speedy deletion nomination of Huawei Cloud edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Huawei Cloud, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Praxidicae Dear Praxidicae, you accused that my draft (Huawei Cloud) is a clear copyright infringement of https://www.huaweicloud.com/en-us/about/about_us.html
It would be glad if you had clarified in your messages to me before citing something you are unsure of. It is a bit disappointing to see an experienced editor of your stature to perform an action without proper due dilligence.
However, I am glad to clarify here. www.huaweicloud.com is meant for the chinese market and only available in China. If you had actually spent time on the same link you have provided, you would have seen on the top right corner in the navigational bar, there is a drop-down which links to the international side which states the market it services -- intl.huaweicloud.com
The same link for information was provided in the draft itself (if you had checked before nominating for speedy deletion)
I believe we all strive to provide accurate information for the benefits of the public. Would be happy if you can provide more constructive feedback and provide fair response and resolution. Thanks in advancedArtefact.apac (talk) 19:36, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Artefact.apac Please review the messages you were left, several times as you have recreated the same thing many times and they were all subsequently deleted. Praxidicae (talk) 19:37, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Praxidicae If you meant replying here, kindly see above. I did make several edits in the draft, unknowingly recreating it before I realise there are messages. My apologies.
Praxidicae Also, there was no contest the nomination option available when I clicked on it just now.Artefact.apac (talk) 19:49, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Athaenara Kindly review. Thank you very much -- Artefact.apac (talk) 19:49, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Huawei Cloud edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Huawei Cloud, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. COI edit

  Hello, Artefact.apac. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:39, 4 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

JamesBWatson Dear James, can you specify which statements seem to be "unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view" as you have stated? Constructive feedbacks are appreciated, not generic warning messages.
When I created the draft, I have used Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services etc as references. Following their structure and assuming those are gold standards for similar pages to provide information for users, searching & citing credible sources for statements made. Hope you had actually reviewed them before flagging.
As a new user in Wikipedia, I hope to contribute to the general public in areas/topics which I am familiar with. Would be happy to clarify if you have any other constructive questions.Artefact.apac (talk) 20:04, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Athaenara Dear Athaenara, I understand you are busy. But, would greatly appreciate if you could enlighten because both editors, namely Praxidicae & JamesBWatson that flagged seemed to have provided weak arguments and more disappointingly, without due diligence. Kindly advise. Again, apologies for the late response and not being able to know every single regulation by heart. Would love to amend as suggested. -- Artefact.apac (talk) 20:07, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
(1) You say that I "have stated" that something is "unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view". Can you remind me where I said that? I have certainly not said so on this page, nor on either of the deleted pages which you created or edited (I never made any edits at all to any of them) nor anywhere else that I can find. (2) What are the "weak arguments" that I have provided? I am not aware of having provided any arguments at all. In fact so far as I can determine the only thing I have ever done in relation to you or your editing is to tell you about the conflict of interest guidelines, which I did in an attempt to help you know what is required. If I have missed anything, please let me know. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:35, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
