Isaac Brock edit

The talk pages are exactly the place for that kind of open discussion. I'm sorry that it offends you -- but you'll note the policy leans towards leniency, as another poster helpfully pointed out. It's not your job to police the talk pages, though you're perfectly welcome to edit the articles :) Rhombus 16:55, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I did read WP:TALK, which also contains this. My comment wasn't intended to inflame, and yes, it was posted in the hope of triggering some discussion that might contribute more information to the article. Maybe the four-letter word wasn't appropriate -- find and fair enough; but deleting entire comments is no less a contravention of the spirit of the Talk guidelines as what you're claiming I've done. (Aside: Is it really necessary to be so combative? Why so angry?) Rhombus 23:54, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Incivility edit

Please see Wikipedia's civility policy. Try to remain calm when discussing disagreements, regardless of how difficult the situation might be. Incivility damages the community and deter users. Note that continued incivility will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Chris Griswold () 05:28, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Festival of Nations (Minnesota), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Speedy deletion nomination of Festival of Nations (Minnesota) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Festival of Nations (Minnesota) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organized event (tour, function, meeting, party, etc.) that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion".
