Jack Adjmi

edit

This article was deleted according to Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion category A7:

  • No indication of importance/significance. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from questions of notability, verifiability and reliability of sources. If controversial, list the article at Articles for deletion instead.

There was nothing in your article that indicated why Jack Adjmi was "important or significant" beyond anyone else who has ever started a small business - i.e. many millions of people around the world.

If you feel you are genuinely able to improve the article and cite reliable sources (i.e. newspaper articles) concerning Jack Adjmi's notability, let me know, and I'd be happy to restore the text to your userspace for you to work on. --Stormie 20:50, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

p.s. posting three times to my talk page to try to give the impression of multiple people clamouring for the return of the article doesn't really work when I can just look at the history and see they were all posted by the same person. --Stormie 20:51, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 21:41, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jack Adjmi restored to userspace

edit

I have restored your deleted article to User:Arealty/Jack Adjmi so you can work on it further. Once you have added reliable sources regarding Adjmi's notability you may wish to move it back to Jack Adjmi. What gives me the right to say who is important, and not important in this world? I have been entrusted with the position of administrator on Wikipedia because I have been around a long time, contributed extensively, and the community trusts my ability to consider the policies and standards of Wikipedia and rule accordingly. Threats like "your going to create big problems for yourself that your going to regret" and "I'm going to go decide on the bio's you created that there's nothing thats important stated, and delete it" are unlikely to lead to your Wikipedia experience being a smooth one. --Stormie 22:20, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
