Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Your draft at Draft:JamesBroughtonMusicalArtist
editWe were in the live help channel discussing your draft and before you left, you were discussing this source with myself and Scottyoak2. I didn't actually check the link at the time, but checking it now reveals that the search page you linked to doesn't have any results. This will not help your article like I initially assumed. Do you have a source that shows he's actually charted anywhere? Thanks for your time. Waggie (talk) 18:47, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

editThis account has been blocked indefinitely as a suspected sock puppet of Jasleen Ahluwalia (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · logs · block log · arb · rfc · lta · SPI · cuwiki). Banned or blocked users are not allowed to edit Wikipedia, and all edits made in violation of a block or ban may be reverted. Request reason:
Dear Alex,
please unblock me I am not a sock puppet I was the victim of a scam. I have forwarded an email to the the email info-en@wikimedia.org on Aug 28, 2018, 3:02 PM (subject)Jamesbroughton (Singer) article scammer, I have attached screen shots of messages spanning 3 months of an editor who I assume is the sock puppet extracting money from me via freelancer in return for wikipedia article creation.
I was totally taken in and made a fool out of and would ask that my attempts at page creation are not blocked on the bases that I am a sock puppet.
I have now started editing myself and would like the opportunity to continue without being blocked the scammer also told me any attempts I make at wikipedia article creation would be blocked when i eventually realised I was being scammed.
Kind Regards,
Ardyvarrk
I have have declared my interest in the article jamess broughton singer and Ardyvark (talk) 08:03, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
Decline reason:
If you weren't engaging in sockpuppetry, I'm sure you can give a good explanation for this edit where you created the user page of another account. Huon (talk) 08:14, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I'll add that I reviewed the OTRS ticket, and it's badly misrepresented here. Based on that ticket alone I'd support an indefinite block. Huon (talk) 08:23, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
Im not sure if your question links to the article creation or the edit live help declaration so I will answer both.
I copied and pasted the code from jamesbroughtonsinger article when a speedy deletion message appeared on it shortly after I was scammed for it creation.
I had started to realise I was being scammed and was trying to start editing myself and as a new user the only way for me to create a page was to use the old page source code as a template. the email I sent with screen shots of messages with scammer requested by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Chrissymadin in the live help portal to info-en@wikimedia.org on Aug 28, 2018, 3:02 PM (subject)Jamesbroughton (Singer) article scammer, is clear evidence of this and why I would have done this. I am happy to forward this email with the screen shots of the messages as evidence but it has to be an email address that allows screenshot attachments (if you are unable to access info-en@wikimedia.org?). I was not a sockepuppet I was embroiled in scam where I was and am still totally humiliated.
I believe the actual sock puppet that got away and my scammer is this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:DungeonMasterr payment for recreating the article jamesbroughtonsinger for payment scamming me and was linked to this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:LegendBalr in this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Jasleen_Ahluwalia. I believe this because he talked to me about having made a page for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aly_Ryan, so basically they are the same person that scammed me
I I was in the article creation live help and asked to make a declaration by Scottyoak2 I mistakenly clicked the wrong link Scottyoak2 pointed this out and I made the declaration on the correct link he messaged in the live help message (he also said he has moved the incorrect entry) Please read the email with screen shots sent to info-en@wikimedia.org on Aug 28, 2018, 3:02 PM (subject)Jamesbroughton (Singer) article scammer, as it is clear evidence that i was scammed and not a anything to do with being a sock puppet. - Unblock request declined, also, as you are clearly a sockpuppet as indicated by Alex Shih, and are emailing everyone in sight, I've pulled your talk page and email rights. Courcelles (talk) 18:49, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
- In reply to the email I received: OTRS' privacy policy prevents me from publicly going into any detail regarding those screenshots without your explicit consent. I can, however, state that they contradict the sob story you tell here of how you were blackmailed into paying money to protect an article that "had been written".
