Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Archbioeditor. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GPL93 (talk) 22:58, 21 February 2021 (UTC)
- Noted, any potential COI's will be disclosed. Thank you GPL93 Archbioeditor (talk) 05:57, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

- Thank you Modussiccandi, I've made some edits to include reliable sources including Architectural Record, Interior Design, the Wall Street Journal, and the Architect's Newspaper. Additionally, her personal biographical details have been emphasized, rather than the details of her company, Only If. Archbioeditor (talk) 19:42, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for improving the article. I've had a look at some of the new sources, and it feels like they tend to cover Only If more than Karolina Czeczek. (I must admit that I couldn't read the WSJ piece because of the pay wall.) This does not diminish their reliability, but they still might not contribute to her notability. What we need is detailed coverage of her person. If there really isn't any third-party coverage of her biography as such, it might be worth writing an article about Only If instead. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 21:54, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
- Understood, Modussiccandi. I have added more independent sources including Architectural Record, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper*, etc. and hopefully met WP:GNG. @Hoary I think part of the issue may be that Karolina Czeczek's architectural practice, Only If, is not eponymous, therefore publications often focus on her company, rather than herself. Nonetheless, recent sources include personal and biographical details. best, Archbioeditor (talk) 02:32, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
