Your edits at Feminist views on transgender topics edit

Hi

I noticed you deleted the addition I added for JK Rowling's comment on transgender women in cisgender women's spaces. Don't you think it's censorship to remove ideas that don't reflect what the page wants? There is a need to keep things neutral, and have everyone's opinions, and it is not transphobic for the wikipedia to have an opinion that doesn't support the view of transgender women not being allowed in cisgender women's spaces. If you don't mind, I would like it to stay.

Hello again, Arboreseflores. I've moved this discussion here, so you'll see my response, and also so you'll be able to refer to it later if you wish to; it will eventually get archived on my Talk page and will become hard to find.
As to your question about removal of content at Feminist views on transgender topics: No, it is not censorship. The Wikipedia policty on article titles defines the topic, and distinguishes that article from other ones. Content at the article should respect the scope of the article, as defined by its title. The article is about Feminist views on transgender topics. Views of prominent feminists are included, and sourced with reliable sources to back them up. You could try, if you wish, create an article called, Writers' views on transgender topics, or Women's views on transgender topics, and the comments you tried to add to the article might be more appropriate there.
In addition, I noticed that after your edit was removed, you went back and restored the information, and were reverted again by a second editor. Please don't do that. When you have a content dispute, go to the article Talk page instead (here: Talk:Feminist views on transgender topics) and argue for your position there, citing Wikipedia policy about why your content would be a good fit and an improvement to the article. Don't Edit war to force the matter. See WP:BRD. Hope this helps, Mathglot (talk) 21:19, 13 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I have a question for you: since your edits at Feminist views on transgender topics were your first contribution to Wikipedia, can you share how you found your way there? It's always helpful to know what attracts people to get involved at Wikipedia, because we are in need of more editors. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 21:36, 13 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
