The article Peeron is being discussed concerning whether it is suitable for inclusion as an article according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peeron until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Peeron edit

Hi ArachanoxReal, I just saw your comment in the Peeron AfD. RS is the usual shorthand here for Reliable Source. When I looked for sources, all I found were blogs and forum posts. Those do not satisfy our criteria for reliable sources, which you can read here: WP:RS. Also, in order to establish notability, you must demonstrate that the article's subject has received significant independent coverage. Therefore, you will need to find reliable sources other than the website itself. For more information, see WP:GNG. Regards, RadManCF open frequency 15:54, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'm working towards that. Thanks for the assistance, I'm still on my very first articles, much yet to learn...

In the future, I would suggest that you work on articles in your userspace, and then move them into mainspace. That way, if you feel that you cannot finish in one sitting, there isn't an unreferenced article sitting around in mainspace. The moment an article appears in mainspace, it is added to a list of new articles, which is used by the New Page Patrol to tag articles for improvement and nominate unsuitable articles for deletion. OK, I will, thanks. --ArachanoxReal (talk) 16:26, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I see that you've been adding sources to the article. Thats good, but, the ones you have still aren't independent of the subject. Regards, RadManCF open frequency 16:32, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Peeronlogo.gif edit

Thanks for uploading File:Peeronlogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
