Nomination of Peeron for deletion

The article Peeron is being discussed concerning whether it is suitable for inclusion as an article according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peeron until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Peeron

Hi ArachanoxReal, I just saw your comment in the Peeron AfD. RS is the usual shorthand here for Reliable Source. When I looked for sources, all I found were blogs and forum posts. Those do not satisfy our criteria for reliable sources, which you can read here: WP:RS. Also, in order to establish notability, you must demonstrate that the article's subject has received significant independent coverage. In the future, I would suggest that you work on articles in your userspace, and then move them into mainspace. That way, if you feel that you cannot finish in one sitting, there isn't an unreferenced article sitting around in mainspace. The moment an article appears in mainspace, it is added to a list of new articles, which is used by the New Page Patrol to tag articles for improvement and nominate unsuitable articles for deletion.
