License tagging for File:Tallinn Bay.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading File:Tallinn Bay.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:05, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiCommons edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. However, could you please familiarize yourself with Wikimedia Commons - for example, Maps of counties of Estonia had an excellent PNG map of counties of Estonia, so using a French JPG was really not needed. Also, don't add width to thumbnails - this is controlled by user settings and other users may want to have different sizes for thumbnails. I recommend becoming familiar with Wikipedia: Manual of Style before any further edits. -- Sander Säde 09:08, 30 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Serbia - Images edit

Jedini razlog sto necu ovo prepravljati (neko vreme) jeste sto me mrzi.

I wrote this message in Serbian because I guess, you're from Serbia. If you don't understand Serbian just notify me, and I'll write this again in English. Ostalocutanje (talk) 00:08, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, my point was that there are too many pictures. I'm sorry if I was a little bit rude, but, as I work mostly on articles related to Serbia, I've met a lot of users coming from Serbia who are trying to make the image of Serbia better by changing encyclopedia articles into tourist guides. I thought you were one of them. :) Ostalocutanje (talk) 12:58, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Tallinn Market Square.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Tallinn Market Square.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
