October 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Knitsey. I noticed that you recently removed content from Cambridge International School, Cambridge without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello Knitsey
The information about this school is out of date and misleading. I would simply like to update it.
Best Wishes

Hi there and thanks for reaching out. There are a couple of issues with your edits.
Firstly, you removed references which left the article as unreferenced. There is every chance an article without adequate secondary sources will be nominated for deletion from Wikipedia.
Secondly, the .gov website states it is still closed.
Thirdly, if it has reopened, then you need to leave the closure information as part of the schools history. You also need to provide secondary sources stating the school is reopening.
You could add (if you provide sources) to the lead with something along the lines of '...despite the school closing in xyz, it reopened in xyz' then put a statement in the main body of the article, with the references, stating it has reopened.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask here or on my talk page. Knitsey (talk) 17:29, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Apu1eius! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Cambridge International School, Cambridge several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Cambridge International School, Cambridge, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Serial 18:11, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Cambridge International School, Cambridge edit

I've updated the items you mentioned per the .gov details. There are no references, apart from the school website so it might be nominated for deletion at some point due to notability. Knitsey (talk) 11:50, 1 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
