 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Oh, I am sorry. I was in a hurry, and noticing the removal of content, I speedily categorized it as that. I forgot to check that you added content. Apollogetticax|talk 06:15, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have a source link for my earlier edit, but I don't know how to reverse the reversion and add it. This is clearly an evolving story and I thought a timely update would be useful. Just the facts.

Well, you could see the diff between the versions, by pressing View History. Then you could restore that version. There is probably going to be a button that says Undo, or maybe Restore? If it's not there, then probably it's only for registered or autoconfirmed users. In that case I can revert to the original. Apollogetticax|talk 18:48, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Wait, what? I just copyedited and cleaned it up, not added new material! Though yes, I'll try in the future to avoid this problem, even though I didn't do it. First of all: I didn't add or deal with images. Secondly: I didn't add anything new, so I didn't violate the fourth point. And I didn't provide quotations, and I didn't even open the website of the source. So either you are mistaking me for someone else or I violated the fifth rule.
