Cheese on tomato pie, and state senate votes

I also do not believe that cheese should go on tomato pie. With that being said, lets chat! Do you think that the mask mandate vote is not significant? Is it because there aren't many votes covered on these wiki articles? And what is the correct way to phrase such a sentence without it being affected by my "personal opinion". Looking forward to this dialogue! GeorgeBailey (talk) 03:21, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

Why was that one vote significant compared to every other COVID-related executive action and piece of legislation in the past two years? Why was it so significant that the exact same thing had to be added to every single page for each of the 63 state senators? That vote was barely covered in the media. For example, I tried to find an article mentioning Rachael May by name, and could not, so it doesn't seem her vote in particular was all that notable. Emphasizing that single vote so heavily really makes it seem like you were trying to blow it way out of proportion and make it some kind of political talking point.
Besides, I've already told you: if you're going to add it, find a single place to put it instead of spamming it everywhere. The page New York state government response to the COVID-19 pandemic peters out after the state of emergency ended in June 2021 (which was also when the content was split from COVID-19 pandemic in New York (state)), and I wouldn't mind seeing it expanded with legislation and actions taken after that point. But that should be a complete look at the significant legislation and executive actions, not one crummy failed vote. Apocheir (talk) 04:17, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
Got it! Thank you. I'll look at expanding that article. I'll start only putting it in the article if it mentions the person by name. Thanks for your help. GeorgeBailey (talk) 17:36, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
