May 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Honorific nicknames in popular music. Please comment on the content and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. kelapstick(bainuu) 09:19, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

In short:
  1. Read WP:CIVIL
  2. Don't use massive amounts of swearing and allcaps in your edit summaries
  3. Don't call other users names
  4. Don't removed content that is sourced with reliable sources
  5. Read Talk:Honorific_nicknames_in_popular_music#Criteria_for_inclusion and discuss changes to the article on the talk page, because it appears that you do not understand the way that Wikipedia, and in particular this article works, so you should ask someone, rather than yelling and swearing at people when you don't get your way.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Honorific nicknames in popular music, you may be blocked from editing. Despite several efforts from several editors, you continue to ignore WP:CONSENSUS as well as other policies when making edits. Additionally, you have never presented a rational argument to any changes to the article other than your personal opinion. You have not engaged any editors on the talk page. You run a very serious risk of being blocked for disruptive editing. If you honestly do not understand why your edits are consistently reversed, please inquire on the talk page or respond here where other warnings have already been issued. Final warning edit

Please cease your disruptive editing behavior in the article Honorific nicknames in popular music. Several editors have reverted your additions, and you are reinstating them without discussion. Please read and familiarize yourself with due and undue weight, especially regarding articles such as this one. Use the the article's talk page to discuss your edits, or they will simply be reverted again. You have made these edits for several days, so this is your final warning. Should you continue, you will be blocked for disruptive behavior and edit warring. — ξxplicit 08:37, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for disruptive editing against consensus, as you did at Honorific nicknames in popular music. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — ξxplicit 05:51, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
