WP:CHINA

edit

Hey, I just wanted to stop by and thank you for tagging so many articles for WP:CHINA. Have you ever considered assessing the quality and importance of articles as well?--Danaman5 05:05, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yellow Emperor

edit

Hi, Aomen! I'm not sure why you removed the LGBT project banner from Yellow Emperor [1], but I've put it back. If that's somehow an error, would you let me know on my talk page? Thanks! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 17:40, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP China tags=

edit

Please respect the layouts of the talk pages. Don't add your tag above others that clearly more relevant, and where project tags are below other notices, don't just add yours at the top. Thank you Johnbod (talk) 17:14, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{WPCHINA}} tagging of disambiguation pages

edit

Hi there

You've tagged quite a lot of disambiguation pages, including Talk:SAW. I don't think that's a good idea, because these disambig pages are simply not articles. If a link on the disambiguation page is related to China, you should tag them instead. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 03:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You tagged this article as WP:CHINA, yet nothing in the article has even the most tenuous connection to China. I am removing the tag. Mayalld (talk)

Steel

edit

As per the previous (unsigned) user, I am removing the WP:CHINA tag from steel. User A1 (talk) 08:18, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oops, signed now Mayalld (talk) 08:22, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I had a look at the list of articles linking to the china tag, and removed more tags from the following articles, due to the tenuousness of the subject matter, from the examination of the history (unless I have made a mistake) that you tagged these articles.

Thanks User A1 (talk) 08:48, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Growth in WP:China

edit
OK, I have looked at your contribs and you appear to be labelling things left right and centre as WP:CHINA (I estimate that in the past month, you have added up to 400 tags - usually in short bursts)! I agree that Chinese towns and cuisine (for the most part - the french are quite reputed for enjoying frogs legs too... I will (later) go through these edits and remove the tags that I think are tenuous. In the mean time, it would be good if you narrowed your scope, which seems to have widened of late.

Hello again,

I have just completed scrubbing about 50 of the placed tags from various pages (including disambigs). User A1 (talk) 14:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, please state your reasoning on the talk page for the tag. Thank you. TheAsianGURU (talk) 18:51, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

WPCHINA

edit

Please don't add WPCHINA to Hong Kong artists when they already have WPHK attached to them. If you want to change it, please leave a reason. Dengero (talk) 09:03, 19 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tagging with {{WPCHINA}}

edit

Hi Aomen. You have recieved a number of complaints about incorrectly tagging articles with {{WPCHINA}}. You have failed to respond to any of them. This has been brought up on the administrator's noticeboard - Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Aomen. Assuming this account is not a bot, please take more care in tagging articles for WikiProject China in future. If you recieve further complaints and continue to be unresponsive, your account runs the risk of being blocked. (Note to anyone else who complains about this account - please leave a note on my talk page also). Thanks. Neıl 14:34, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tagging

edit

Hi, I have noticed you have been given a hard time by other people here. However, please don't let this discourage you. I realise the tremendous work you have put in. Keep it up. Paul Gard (talk) 11:29, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stubs?

edit

I noticed you tagged a few maple articles (Acer truncatum, Acer mandshuricum, etc.) as being stubs. They definately aren't. Is your reasoning that such a tag will encourage expansion? Typically I would give the benefit of the doubt in a case like this, but as I see your talk page is filled with complaints about your tagging criteria I will probably undo your tags unless you explain. I am, however, open to whatever explanation you wish to offer. Thanks. --House of Scandal (talk) 03:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Are you a bot?

edit

You don't seem to have made any edits other than article/cat tagging, and you are not responding at all to any comments placed on your talk. Bots must be approved. Please respond to comments here. --Rifleman 82 (talk) 06:45, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
