Username blocked

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Anusbrains, contains the word "anus" and therefore does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

Please choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. However, do not create a new account if you wish to credit your existing contributions to a new name through a username change. To request a username change:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to edit this talk page even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a list of names that have already been taken. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 08:49, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

What's wrong with my name? Thank you.

Decline reason:

If you cannot tell what's wrong with it, then perhaps an encyclopedia of knowledge is not the place for you (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:47, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

So my name violates a rule, but you can't explain it? Why do you only respond with rudeness? How is your conduct justified? Thank you.

Decline reason:

I am declining your request for unblock because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    • understand what you have been blocked for,
    • will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    • will make useful contributions instead.

Please read our guide to appealing blocks for more information. TNXMan 20:58, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

How am I supposed to respond to the block and request an unblock in accordance with the rules if no one will explain the rule I am to have broken? Thank you.

Decline reason:

The "rule" that you broke has been noted on your original block notice but let me quote it again, in case you missed it: "This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Anusbrains, contains the word "anus" and therefore does not meet our username policy" (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:27, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Now I see the problem. There is no mention of "anus" in the username, so the original blocker was mistaken. Can you please correct this and unblock my account? Thank you.

Decline reason:

Baloney. I see it right up there, at the top of the page, plainer than a sequoia on a plain. Declined. The next frivolous unblock request you ask for will result in your talk page privileges being revoked. —Jeremy (v^_^v Dittobori) 22:00, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Sorry, I meant to write "username policy", not just "username". Now that I have clarified, could you please unblock my name. Thank you.

Decline reason:

You still not understand why your username is inappropriate even after several other administrators told you, and you are now wasting our time. I am revoking your ability to edit this talk page. You may direct any further unblock requests via email at unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org. Regards, –MuZemike 04:10, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

5 of the 6 of you are really disappointing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.50.70.143 (talk) 04:28, 12 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
