For the 1987 born Chintan Bhagat, was born into the world of financial markets. His great-grandfather started one of India’s oldest broking firms, Mangal Keshav in Mumbai in 1939. Daily exposure to stocks, financial talks and market conjecture have been a core part of his upbringing.

His family has had nearly 80 years Financial Markets experience and knowledge.

He did his schooling at the American School in Mumbai and has a Double-Major in Entrepreneurship and Economics Babson College, Boston, USA.

The Quant Algorithm

edit

Inclined toward technology, coupled with a strong lineage of investing in and trading in the markets, Chintan developed a quant-based trading methodology merely at age 27. The trading methodology works seamlessly in a scientific manner.

On the 160th Iteration, Bhagat finally got the algorithm fine-tuned and he was able to test its performance on Global Financial Markets such as Australia, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Europe and U.S.

Bhagat’s algorithm is quite unique in many ways. While other algorithms rely on a logic system such as Elliot Wave Theory as a precondition to work, Bhagat’s algorithm which is based on statistics, calculus and probability, only uses price and volume as the inputs into the formula. Since these two inputs will continue to exist at any point in time, the algorithm becomes self-adapting and works perfectly in all market conditions (whether trending or sideways, whether volatile or quiet). It works in real-time so it helps instant decision making as the system monitors changes every second.

http://www.afternoondc.in/business/wizkid-creates-magic-at-80-year-old-broking-firm/article_186621 The algorithm provides insights and knowledge at one’s fingertips, while giving them full control in terms of making his decision, ideally with a judicious mix of speed, risk and caution.

Although the algorithm is automated, Bhagat deliberately has kept it so it gives a buy/sell signal but it does not make the trade automatically. It still requires human discretion to take the final call, ensuring 100% safety.

Investment Career

edit

Chintan has a pedigree of 80 years in the financial markets and coming from a business family in the financial markets. After acquiring the shares of Bank Muscat back, and taking full control of the company, Chintan started his prop-desk out of Dubai in 2013 and started trading in Indian equities.

http://globalprimenews.com/2017/02/14/the-eureka-moment-that-changed-the-fortunes-of-an-80-year-old-broking-firm/

In August 2016, he laid the foundation of SkyFire Capital LLC, trading on the Chicago Board of Trade, Comex and CME trading futures of Gold, Crude Oil, S&P 500, Currency Futures and the U.S. 10-year Treasury note. The quant-based trading methodology has generated great interest, especially from high net worth individuals (HNIs) who have enjoyed stellar returns on their investment. The list of clients has been growing due to the fact that the algorithm works well across asset classes has enabled Insutitions and High Networth Indiviudals to diversify their investments across asset classes.

It is no surprise that the asset under management (AUM) of his firm has more than trebled in the last 3 years.

Dear Sir/Madam, I tried drafting an article from my account, 1st time when I sent it for review it got rejected because it looked more like an advertisement. The 2nd after editing the article, I again tried sending it for review but due to some problem, it was not getting sent. Hence I tried sending it by making a new account. After sending it from a new account, I received a notification regarding conflict of interest and both of my accounts were blocked. I am totally new to Wikipedia, and did not know about this. There is no such malpractice that is being carried out. I am innocent for this and not trying to do anything wrong. Kindly help me out and unblock my account. Thank You

I tried making new accounts -parikh.anuj1 and rakesh ranpura bcause I thought there was some problem in my current account- Anuj Parikh. I am new to wikipedia. I was not knowing about it. I thought I made some mistakes and thats the reason of making new accounts. There is nothing wrong or malpractice that is being carried out by me. Sorry. Kindly unblock the account. Thank You

Decline reason:

You are not innocent. You have violated WP:SOCK and WP:COI. However, you may be claiming that you made a mistake, rather than that you did not act badly. However, it's not clear what would happen if we unblocked you. Would you keep trying to make the same spammy article about yourself? Yamla (talk) 13:00, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
