Help:Files shows how to upload pictures and add them to articles. (Just be careful, because Wikipedia cannot accept 99% of images found on the internet. Ask at WP:MCQ if you have questions about a photo--generally, photos you took yourself and photos taken before 1923 are okay.)

For references, in the edit window wherever you want a reference to appear at the end of a sentence click "cite." Then in the template drop-down box choose the type of reference you have (book, web, news, etc.) and fill in the relevant fields that pop up. At the bottom of your article, type {{reflist}} and it will use that information you entered to make a pretty list.

Proposed deletion of Bonoko

edit

The article Bonoko has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no indication of WP:notability. The article seems to be being used to publish a news story about Kenyan police rather than defining a word. Even if it was defining a word, wikipedia is not a dictionary

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 18:51, 18 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
