Draft:2011–12 North American winter edit

That page is a draft I have been working on for quite awhile now. I was hoping for it to eventually become an "ideal" example of North American winter article (since most articles in that series could be improved), but I never seem to have enough time to finish it. As such, I have written it only little bits at a time, for the most part. If you have any questions about Wikipedia or about that draft, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. I made edits to the page last week as an anonymous user and today signed in but I reverted them as you said not to edit it. Also added list of the storms to the 2010-2011 winter season page — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous Ryan (talkcontribs) 23:56, 23 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
When "Kecoble" and "Karrotcobbler" made some unhelpful edits (including mass blanking) and prematurely moved the page to mainspace, I moved it back because I did not want other users to edit it yet. I worried that should the article be moved to mainspace prior to being completed, other users trying to fill in missing information would potentially write with a different style and/or write in a way that would not comply with what I wrote at Draft talk:2011–12 North American winter, which in my opinion would be the cause for a potential drop in quality due to inconsistent writing. The article is in the process of being written, hence why those headings you mentioned (the ones you added then removed) are not there; I am trying to write the article in a progressive manner, from start to finish. At the current time, there are about five missing "Events" section subheadings for sections I have yet to write about, plus a "Records" heading and perhaps some additional subheadings of that. It's not that I haven't thought to add them, but rather that I would rather avoid having empty sections while I write the article. I'll add them once I start writing those sections. If you have any suggestions, feel free to bring them up. I hope you'll stick around to get more familiar with Wikipedia; it'd be nice to see more winter storm / winter season editors. maybe "MarioProtIV" could help contribute to your page he could add some useful information to the article --Anonymous Ryan (talk) 01:27, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
At one point, I actually asked MarioProtIV about helping with a different article, the 2016–17 North American winter article, but I sadly never received a response. Master of Time (talk) 01:32, 24 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Re: Draft:2008–09 North American winter edit

The parameter is being applied to every draft that uses Template:Draft article. If there are other drafts on this topic that uses the template it will be applied to them as well.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 01:21, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:2008–09 North American winter edit

Hello, Anonymous Ryan. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2008–09 North American winter".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. » Shadowowl | talk 08:45, 16 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
