Hi, this is my talk page. Feel free to ask me anything you'd like. I am a rookie editor and am currently testing and exploring the realm of Wikipedia.

Your article has been moved to AfC space Hi! I would like to inform you that the Articles for Creation submission which was previously located here: User:AnonymousDDoS/Concurrency testing has been moved to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Concurrency testing, this move was made automatically and doesn't affect your article. Your signature edit

I wanted to alert you, your signature violates Wikipedia signature policies. All custom signatures must have a link to either the user's talk page or user page, or preferably both per WP:SIG. Please update that ASAP. Thanks, Nathan2055talk 02:04, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

A belated welcome! edit

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, AnonymousDDoS. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Nathan2055talk 02:04, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sour mash edit

Sorry if the tone of my edit a few minutes ago was a bit brash. I'm pretty convinced that this origin story for sour mash is just a popular myth, possibly assisted by people with a financial interest in it. There are a lot of silly myths that surround the history of distilling in the U.S. (and elsewhere). –BarrelProof (talk) 05:38, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

No problem, but I have a question. How can the distilling process of sour mash be supported? Is there a reference to it anywhere else in the wiki, or even somewhere externally where it can be cited? I just don't see how it fits in the article summary section. -- AnonymousDDoS (talk) 15:09, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
The article certainly suffers from a lack of citations. It should be pretty easy to find some references that support what the sour mash process is, describe roughly when it became commonly used, and describe how prevalent it currently is – although its exact origin is probably uknown. I'll try to remember to work on that. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:00, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Concurrency testing edit

You moved Concurrency testing to Help:Concurrency testing with the explanation This page needs to be deleted. References to concurrency testing can be found in the Load testing article. Pages in the Help space are intended specifically to be used to provide instruction in the use of Wikipedia; they are not intended to "sweep articles under the rug". In the future, if you wish to have a page deleted of which you have been the sole author, just put the {{db-author}} template on the page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:46, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Articles for Creation urgently needs YOUR help!

Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 2530 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Are you autoconfirmed?
  5. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.

PS: we have a great AFC helper script at User:Timotheus Canens/afchelper4.js which helps in reviewing in just few edits easily!

We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 2 or 3 reviews, it would be extremely beneficial.

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Concurrency testing concern edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Concurrency testing, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 02:01, 20 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Concurrency testing edit

Hello AnonymousDDoS. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Concurrency testing".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Concurrency testing}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 04:03, 23 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
