It Gets Better Project

edit

If you disagree with the list selection criteria, please discuss and gain a consensus for including people who are apparently not notable enough for a Wikipedia article and have contributed a video to the It Gets Better Project. Should you continue reverting and replacing Bain in this list without addressing the concerns raised, you are in danger of contravening the edit-warring guidelines. Thanks, (talk) 18:58, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

For what it's worth, I think that Daniel Bain might very well qualify for an article under our notability rules, if we can find enough quality sources about him — but there is a standing rule in place that he needs to actually have an article on here to link to before his name can be added to lists of this type. I'd welcome his inclusion too — but the key is to work on a real article about him first and then add him to the list. Simply adding footnotes which confirm his existence, but have nothing to do with his actual role in the actual video, are not an appropriate substitute.Bearcat (talk) 19:14, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
