Amit Tiwari edit

A tag has been placed on Amit Tiwari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tikiwont 12:45, 5 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Garjiya Temple Ramnagar.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Garjiya Temple Ramnagar.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. August 2022 edit

Hello, I'm FAdesdae378. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Subhash Singh (politician), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! FAdesdae378 (talk · contribs) 02:29, 16 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Anni in! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Subhash Singh (politician) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Devidatt Pant moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Devidatt Pant, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks. I have added reference link of Govt. of India site which is in Hindi. Feel free to use google translator. I will be adding more details in coming days with more references and pictures Anni in (talk) 05:04, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
His details were never published by previous government and it will be difficult to find online references. However old news paper cuttings should be available. I have contacted his family members. His sons were professors, Army Colonel , Indian Scientist and Doctors and I know all of them personally.
Can you help me what is the wikipedia policy if online reference is not available? What are other acceptable references? Anni in (talk) 05:09, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
