A few tips edit

Welcome to Wikipedia! Sorry I reverted your first edit to Diethyl phthalate. It was a gut reaction to seeing the sandbox instructions pop up on an article. Your contributions are very welcome, but I did clean up three specific things:

License tagging for File:Synthesis-DEP.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:Synthesis-DEP.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:05, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Synthese-DEP.gif edit

Just to let you know I changed the tag to {{PD-chem}}, which is the normal copyright notice nowadays for chemical structures. Could I ask that if you want to upload any more structures that you consider uploading to commons (same PD-chem template). We are trying to sort out the vast amount of poor and old structures, and hopefully moving the better ones to commons. You might be interested in Wikipedia:Manual of Style (chemistry)/Structure drawing for ways to make the best quality drawings. Thanks for your time,  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:06, 18 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
