Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at Greystanes, New South Wales. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. LibStar (talk) 17:06, 17 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You are not editing or redistributing content, but instead, deleting. What gives you the right to remove content that is factually correct, numerous times. Why don't you contact these people on Linkedin? Or why don't you research your actions. Deleting facts is actually against what Wikipedia stands for. I am going to report what you are doing here, it's unacceptable. Instead of taking the facts of this page and updating the notable people's respective articles, you instead claim that those articles need to form the basis of this article. Why is that?
Also, I don't appreciate your tone. Ownership is not being assumed, I have taken alot of time to edit this article and have done an incredible job here. And you think you have the right to come and delete content that is correct.
I totally agree with all the referencing and citations, even though it's annoying and you have asked for citations for the same thing multiple times. But that's ok. But again, deleting content without getting your facts checked, is unacceptable. And I have asked you to stop 3 times now. Annamaria.dmrt (talk) 08:30, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Greystanes, New South Wales shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Greystanes, New South Wales, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 10:13, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

and what about having Amanda Farrugia removed as a notable person on Greystanes, New South Wales, even though her article mentions it specifically?
Block me and I will raise this further, because I totally disagree with you.
Citing throughout the article is fine, but these notable people are:
  1. from sydney (greystanes is their suburb in sydney)
  2. their articles should be updated, not them being removed from this suburb's new content. It is not my responsibility to update their articles. And notable people do not need to be referenced (unless they do not have a wiki article). That's how I have always seen it on all of these articles.
I am not in an edit war. The citations needed on the page, I will address. Annamaria.dmrt (talk) 10:49, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
having read the comments on the Admin Notice page, I will agree to disagree, and just do what you guys are all asking, no worries.
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the loss of time Annamaria.dmrt (talk) 10:53, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
You cannot agree to disagree over sourcing your content, it is an absolutely fundamental part of editing here! Theroadislong (talk) 10:59, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
i agree to disagree with here in general. Because you should not be deleting in my opinion, but instead telling me what to cite. Like in the other parts of the article.
noone here is mentioning Amanda Farrugia and why she was removed, when her article clearly says she is from greystanes, and the reason for deletion, was that it doesnt.
Also, you have asked for citations, UserLibStar, didn't.
So, i think you should try and see where I am coming from here, and also have some greatitude to people trying to contribute here. Instead of being so aggressive. I get it. I need to cite notable people too. I will do it.
Next time, say so from the start, add a citation tag and don't delete content.
Thanks! All the best Annamaria.dmrt (talk) 11:08, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please note that the Amanda Farrugia article actually says "she attended Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School, Greystanes" it does NOT say that "she is from Greystanes". Thank you for finding a source that actually does confirm that she lived there. Theroadislong (talk) 20:50, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
