Paleoecology

I found two mistakes in the article that I think it can be corrected. The first of them is found at the beginning of the article, in the second paragraph: "...though paleontologists have conducted paleoecological studies since the creation of paleontology in the 1700s and 1800s". When referring to the birth of a discipline, you could use something like "...since the creation of paleontology between 1700s and 1800s..."

The second mistake is the last point of the section entitled "Major principles". In this section we found the following sentence: "...Uniformitarianism is the concept that processes that took place in the geologic past are the same as the ones that are observed taking place today..." There is a verb missing between "concept that" and "process". I also believe the rest of the sentence is not clear. AnkylosaurMan (talk) 22:30, 16 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
