Social Media article used on Wikipedia is the generally accepted term by people (India). Most Indians look up to Wikipedia to gain their understanding. The problem with this has been that they have got it wrong. What's even worse is that our Indian Education System is telling students that Social Media = Lots of Copy Writing. (Which isn't true)

Social Media is a 'network of people' that use digital platforms to communicate with each other. If I have to spread a news I can share it via Email, Social Networks, Messengers, Forums - all which are social in nature. These technologies allow us to communicate with people & society.

Unlike Print, Hoardings, Social Media is the communication between people on the internet, that 'stays' on the internet. This means that technology has finally enabled us to capture Word-of-Mouth giving rise to the birth of Social Media. Anikethdsouza (talk) 06:30, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

I realised my mistake of why I was blocked. It's been a while since I have not submitted anything to Wikipedia and now I genuinely want to contribute information that is factual & published in major journals with verifiable online links.
