Orphaned non-free image File:Theatrical name.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Theatrical name.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 21:59, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Further Adventures in Babysitting (2016 film)

edit

Hello, Angelwazza,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Further Adventures in Babysitting (2016 film) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Further Adventures in Babysitting (2016 film) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Full House characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fuller House. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Cecil Hotel (Los Angeles), without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see the talk page, where the move you made had already been proposed and decided against. If you still believe it should be moved, you may open up a new move proposal as discussed in Wikipedia:Requested moves, and it will be moved if you obtain a consensus to do so. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Pray for Rosemary's Baby, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks for uploading File:34+35 single.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. Speedy deletion nomination of File:34+35 single.jpeg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:34+35 single.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Hello, I'm SkyWarrior. Your recent edit(s) to the page List of Billboard Hot 100 number ones of 2021 appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SkyWarrior 04:46, 15 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Lil-unique1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Positions (album), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You failed to provide a reliable source that "POV" was being released on March 30th 2021Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 21:03, 20 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

POV (song)

edit

Hey! Just a heads up: please stop adding "POV" as a single from Positions (album) until there are reliable sources that state this. Even though Gary Trust writes for Billboard, his Twitter account violates WP:SOCIALMEDIA. Per SOCIALMEDIA, self-published and questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves. If Trust wants to write an article for Billboard saying that "POV" is a single, he can do so, but we can’t cite his Twitter account. Knowing this, please halt trying to add "POV" as a single until reliable sources say it is a single. Thanks! D🐶ggy54321 (let's chat!) 12:10, 24 March 2021 (UTC) (please ping on reply)Reply

Edit warring

edit

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:13, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  —C.Fred (talk) 20:31, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Life Goes On (BTS song), you may be blocked from editing. EN-Jungwon 05:12, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • It really looks bad when, fresh off a block, you go back to the same reverts with zero attempt at discussion. I strongly encourage that you discuss your edits at Talk:Life Goes On (BTS song) and only change the text if there is consensus for the change at the talk page. Edit warring is unacceptable; if you are unwilling to discuss on the talk page, your ability to edit the article can be revoked to prevent further disruption. —C.Fred (talk) 18:02, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Oh My God (Adele song).jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Oh My God (Adele song).jpeg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Uploading cover artworks

edit

Hi. You must cite the source you got the artwork from when you upload it. In the case of the "artwork" you uploaded for Oh My God (Adele song), I cannot find (and it appears two other editors have also recently said the same as well) where this is used in an official capacity as the cover art. I Google-searched the image and Twitter uploads of that shot say it was taken from the photo shoot for the music video, not that it is the cover. If you cannot prove something is the official cover of a work, do not upload it. Thank you. Ss112 19:43, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have again uploaded something as the cover for "Oh My God". Cover artworks from Hung Medien sites (australian-charts.com et al) have been found in the past to be fan-made as they have appeared nowhere else. If a cover hasn't appeared somewhere in an official capacity, do no upload it. You are wasting your time because the files will be found and deleted. Ss112 19:04, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cruel Summer

edit

Please stop adding unverified, badly sourced factoids about "Cruel Summer" being a single on the song and album articles. Your source is weak, and is not enough. Moreover, this is 2022. Now the song is suddenly a single in 2019? It is your WP:BURDEN to open a discussion on the song's talk page and gain consensus from other editors about the information that you're trying to add. Please do not WP:EDITWAR or WP:DISRUPT. Thank You. ℛonherry 03:22, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked twice for edit warring, if you don't wanna to blocked again, I suggest you stop restoring your poorly sourced edits. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 07:41, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

How is it poorly sourced? AllAccess is literally the company that announces radio releases, getting news directly from record labels. I have added a column to the talk page exclaiming why “Cruel Summer” should be considered a promotional single. Please take a look at it. Angelwazza (talk) 07:45, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Angelwazza: I responded in the article talk page. By the way, do not simply revert the edits that correct you. That constitutes WP:DISRUPT and WP:EDITWAR, in case you are not aware. Continued disruptive edits may lead to you losing your editing privileges. So please stop undoing other editors and engage in a decent conversation in the song's talk page. Also, do not forget to write the WP:EDITSUMMARY when you edit. Regards. ℛonherry 08:04, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
