editHi! I have the following notes for you:
- Make sure to keep your tone as neutral as possible. Be careful, as some things may seem neutral off-Wikipedia but promotional on Wikipedia.
- We can't make our own interpretations/opinions of artwork or someone's status - we can only summarize what has been stated in the source material. For example, we can't say that someone's artwork is masterful, but we can say that someone else stated that. Another example would be that we can't say that one of his artwork is the best or pick one specific artwork over others. We can only say that someone has called it his best or summarize what people have written about his work. If one piece is specifically highlighted then we can summarize what has been written about that, but otherwise we can't pick out specific artworks.
I've started some cleanup for flow and grammar, but so far my biggest concern is that many of the sources are primary or places where you can buy the artist's work, which poses a problem of verifiability and neutrality. We need more sourcing in places like newspapers and academic/scholarly outlets. 18:38, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- I also fixed some redundancies in content, as some of the material was repeated several times over in new sections. - I've removed the media section for this reason - it largely stated material that was already in the career and early/personal life section. I did move one statement about his volunteer work to another section, though. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:50, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
- Also, keep in mind that while the tribe is important to his art, we should only cover the tribe as it specifically applies to the artist - there are articles for his specific and general tribe/peoples, so any more general content about these groups should be in those articles.
