Hi Andreas,
Thank you for contributing to the comparison of SBCs! From the comment you wrote for one of your recent changes I understand I owe you an explanation: the reason why I reverted your edit is that if we just add an entry in the first table, there’s very little information to compare it by (the title of the page is Comparison after all), making such entry not very useful.
Adding obsolete/discontinued products just makes the page longer and slower to load, with no benefit at all ‒ there are so many SBC being put on sale and discontinued at such as speed that if we were to list them all in one page, it would quickly become useless and possibly eligible for deletion from Wikipedia (see WP:NOTDIRECTORY).
Also, it’s confusing if an entry only appears in the first table; I and other people find it very confusing when we’re trying to track a row across multiple tables just to find out that it’s not there.
I see from what you write that you miss the old list page that was merged into the comparison page. If that’s what you want, nothing is stopping you from restoring it as a separate page (instead of a redirect) and adding entries to it.
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article InfoTM is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InfoTM until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. shoy (reactions) 14:26, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
infotm page edit
Hey, i was not aware that the page InfoTM was deleted, not sure why they deleted it but it's pretty dumb. Anyways i have created it because it was required for many wiki articles and to list the SoC's. If you can help me to fill it it would be awesome because my english skills aren't the bests. ;) Unknowcontributor (talk) 11:47, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
