According to Wikipedia's guidelines---which I have now familiarized myself with---there is a general rule that well-acquainted Wikipedians should not "bite the newcomers". So, I had been a Wiki member for all of thirteen minutes and had made some poor edits (by virtue of not understanding the "rules/guidelines"), and was treated to a level 3 warning from someone who was editing the same article I was. I made two edits at 17:34 and 17:35 on March 27, created my account at 17:50 on March 27, and received the warning at 18:03 on March 27. Let all who visit my User talk page never find themselves treated this way. And never find themselves tempted to treat anyone else this way either. And, although I deleted the warning from my page, the user who sent the warning insisted on restoring it to my page. Tread lightly seems to be the message... Actually, upon checking the warning and the edit for which I was being warned, I did not in fact make any errors. I added a piece of information that was included in a previously cited secondary source. AndreaMChen (talk) 20:04, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
