Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Snuggums (talk / edits) 00:52, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Linking

edit

Please read WP:Manual of Style/Linking#What generally should not be linked. It says that occupations tend not to be linked. This particularly applies if the occupation is a commonly recognized term. There isn't often any benefit to linking them. Snuggums (talk / edits) 00:58, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

RFA comments.

edit

Hi.

Thanks for adding your comments to the 2 current RFA discussions. This is just a quick note to let you know that comments such as you added, registering a numbered !vote should be added to the end of the appropriate section, in chronological order. I moved your comments on this occasion, so you don't need to do anything further. Thanks again for your participation. --Begoontalk 04:51, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

User pages

edit

Please do not edit another editor's user page unless there is an important reason to do so (e. g. removing inappropriate content or mending code which damages the encyclopedia). I have reverted your change to User:Johnpacklambert - it's his choice what links to make etc. PamD 06:01, 28 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Grassroots Party, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Chris Wright and Tim Davis. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sockpuppet investigation

edit

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jadeveon41, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. Sro23 (talk) 22:29, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
