edit

Hello, I'm FlightTime. Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Dawn Patrol (album) even if you provide a/some source(s), you'll still need to start a discussion on the article talk page to allow editors who regular watch that page a chance to discuss the reliability of the source(s) you provided. One reason is, genre sources can easily be considered an opinion and not fact. Genre's are a touchy subject here on Wikipedia and without discussion/consensus, regardless of your source(s), your addition or removal will most likely be reverted. Your edit has been reverted and archived in the page history for now.

Unsourced genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive.

Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:34, 29 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Holy Diver, you may be blocked from editing.

We use the duration times of the initial release.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Marching Out. - FlightTime (open channel) 00:01, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I. What's the problem with the "marching out" source? It is a legitimate source from Revolver Magazin. AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:04, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

What's wrong is you have not discussed your changes on the article talk page, first. You might read the notice I left awhile ago above. - FlightTime (open channel) 00:07, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

II. I made changes in the track list length of Dio's holy diver album because it's the original length of the lp that I captured via discogs (this is also on some Iron Maiden albums here on Wikipedia like in piece of mind). The actual length of the album is 41:29 (I stopped to calculate) and you undid it... whatever... what I'm doing is more fan work anyway AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:09, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Well, that's exactly why you need to discuss your concerns first, see WP:Consensus. - FlightTime (open channel) 00:16, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • The source in Marching out had been previously posted by another user (it wasn't me actually) who was the same guy who put the souce in holy diver, pay attention, it wasn't me. Both sources point to such a genre, if you deleted the one from marching out why don't you delete the one from holy diver since you saw that the source is okay AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:13, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

III. We shouldn't use only the American seal since we're on Wikipedia and that happens on Fates Warning albums for example? The original label of this album, Holy Diver, is Vertigo Records from uk, the American is Warner Bros. What is correct in this situation? I'm asking you with respect. AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:17, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Again, its issues like that, that need to be discussed before you go changing things. This is my last message, I have things to do. Cheers, - FlightTime (open channel) 00:19, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to post the source of revolver magazine back in Marching Out. If you have an explanation, please answer me being polite because I was polite to you ok? AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:21, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Explain to me, so we can understand each other in a friendly way, soon coming to a conclusion AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:21, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I was polite to you, you lacked respect for me. But let's discuss about the source of Holy Diver Album, it's the same source that was posted by the same user that didn't add a thread either, let's delete there too? AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:34, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

You still do not understand, all this stuff you're telling me should be directed to a talk page discussion. Posting your argument here is a waste of time. - FlightTime (open channel) 00:39, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I just understand, I added it there on the talk page with these same arguments. All right now? AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:42, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've already post it on the marching out talk page AncapsuClassic (talk) 00:44, 11 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
