Note to Wikipedians: Amoncure is a new Wikipedian who is drafting articles for other editors to edit for Wikipedia:Meetup/Kansas_City/2021_MLK_Day_of_Service. The subjects have been pre-selected and reliably sourced for notability by a public librarian. So we'll pursue the draft process.

Hey there Amoncure. Don't worry about all the notices. You can delete them from your Talk page; they serve as a reference for me, though they could be compiled down to just a list of wikilinks to them. Take heart and don't worry about the fact that various other editors observing the article creation process put them into Draft space. That's not a real deletion or anything like that. Those editors don't know that you might have a stack of WP:RSes on your desk or whatever, and global protocol must be followed until they are ready for publishing, that's all. Every article or Draft that's created does need to satisfy WP:N in theory. So that means the editor already has a set of well more than 3 substantial WP:RSes already discovered and ready and waiting, to be incorporated into it, to yield a large and fully formatted biography with all the infobox and sections and categories so it can reach past C class. So I assume that Kclibrarian has a compilation of those reliable sources. That's what should be known and prepared ahead of time. I published those three already because I fleshed them out to the point of proving fairly surely that they can go to C. And if that's the case, then we can make it happen in enough time even though not today. And I hope you can suggest which ones are the most clearly notable, and the easiest to expand, because I don't know anything about these subjects :) Keep calm and edit on! — Smuckola(talk) 01:27, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

As the warning says above, we can't totally copy from another source under any circumstances even as a stub. That's just the law, and even if it's freely licensed as copyable then we need to carefully attribute it, but still we ideally need to rewrite it enough to be original or summarized. You started a whole ton of articles started for any group size so let's go for quality over quantity. Good stuff. We just don't wanna risk abandonment of Drafts if there isn't enough editor effort across the next year. Regarding the article names, they don't need the parentheses except for disambiguation of multiple existing Wikipedia articles already having the same name. — Smuckola(talk) 01:32, 12 January 2021 (UTC)

One note: please do NOT include a person's occupation in parentheses (e.g., (banker), (minister), etc.) UNLESS there is already an article on a different person who has the same name. If the name is unique to Wikipedia, the ttitle should only be the person's name. Also, do not include honorifics like "Dr." or "Rev." in the article title.
