Hi Amolakh / Agra article
editI'm sorry if your feelings got hurt when I removed the Ram Bagh additions you made. It happens all the time, however!
Sorry, but you can't copy web page text into Wikipedia articles. It must be original material or public domain or specifically OK to copy. Unless a web page specifically says that is available to copy, Wikipedia doesn't allow it to be copied.
Pictures cannot be copied, as rule.
You can read another web page and rewrite it in your own words, however.
I would be glad if you added Agra information in your own words. I would be pleased to help edit your work, and not remove it.
At first glance, it looks like some of your other changes may also be copied from other websites. If this info is just copied from other websites, it will have to be removed also, sorry.

yes I have been seeing all that you have been doing is ramming your views down other people Throat on how Agra should be spelled etc
Amolakh: please feel free to change what needs changing. Removing the accent from Agra was done in keeping with the Wikipedia Indian Cities project. I don't particularly like having my editing described as "ramming your views downn other people Throat". You've just started editing today, apparently; I hope you'll learn to be more moderate in how you talk to your fellow editors.
I notice that you didn't like my discussion of what translations belong on the Taj Mahal page. I raised the point and said what I thought -- but I didn't remove the translations just because I didn't like them. Other people made reasonable points, and I accepted them even though I disagree. So please don't just say "ramming" until you've looked further into the matter. Thanks. --Nemonoman 20:21, 6 February 2006 (UTC) Nope cause I am leaving wikipedia if people like you are here and refusing to put information no need for me to put any information

Image Tagging Image:Maywati.jpg
editThis media may be deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Maywati.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 82.83.65.227 09:39, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Maywati.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Maywati.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 82.83.65.227 09:39, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:Amarsingh.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Amarsingh.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:51, 7 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 00:51, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Possibly unfree Image:Gulzarilal_Nanda.jpg
editUnspecified source for Image:Seal_Agra_University.gif
editThanks for uploading Image:Seal_Agra_University.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already.
If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:51, 30 June 2007 (UTC). File:InsideChini Ka Roza.jpg listed for discussion
editA file that you uploaded or altered, File:InsideChini Ka Roza.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Anarchyte (talk • work) 13:31, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
The file File:Chini Ka Roza.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused, low-res, better files at c:Category:Chini Ka Rauza
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 04:16, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
