Speedy deletion nomination of User:Amarsh10/sandbox edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Amarsh10/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.reloop.com/artists/dj-jam-220-article. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hello, Amarsh10, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:12, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Spencer,
Can you please give more detail as to why my Wiki page was deleted? You stated is was because it did not follow Wiki's goals? I am not sure what I did wrong, but I referenced everything and it was about artist/music label. There wasn't anything offensive and it was a very simple Wiki. I am trying to make Wiki's for artist and a music label and I am just wasting time and resources doing it if my pages just keep getting deleted. This is now the second one deleted. Please let me know, so I stop making the same mistake moving forward.

March 2023 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Nodrecords101/sandbox. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ 09:41, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at User:Amarsh10/sandbox, you may be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. ツ 09:48, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at User:Amarsh10/sandbox, you may be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. ツ 09:49, 16 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Jeff G. Did I add something wrong again? I read the link you and another individual sent and I aligned everything with what it told me I could and could not post. Can you please assist with this as I don't want the page to be removed. Amarsh10 (talk) 15:22, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
It was: a copyright violation; unsourced; and promotional, tending to promote artist dj jam. This was all without being encyclopedic in violation of WP:CSD#G12, WP:CSD#U5, and WP:CSD#G11. Ask ScottishFinnishRadish or Anthony Bradbury if you don't believe me.   — Jeff G. ツ 09:35, 28 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Amarsh10. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Should you wish to appeal your block, you can follow the instructions at WP:GAB. However, before you do that, I would advise you to read WP:PAID, WP:COI, WP:SOCK and WP:NOTPROMO. Essentially, it looks to me like you have used multiple accounts to write promotionally about a company that you are either employed by, or which you own, which is contrary to the purpose of this project. Best wishes Girth Summit (blether) 11:13, 21 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
