Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Yeruham Dam has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Yeruham Dam, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —George8211 / T 00:45, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yeruham Dam

edit

Hello Amandalee222, welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed your edits to Yeruham Dam, and I was wondering if you were perhaps confusing two articles? There is a Wikipedia article about the town of Yeruham, and a separate one about Yeruham Dam. Another reason your edits were reverted is that they were unsourced. Wikipedia articles need to be based off of reliable, independent sources such as newspapers or books, so that anyone who reads the article can verify that the information is true.
Also, one more thing. If the current photo of the lake is not accurate, since you live close by you could take a photo of the lake yourself and upload it to Wikimedia Commons, then replace the current photo with that one. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 00:58, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

If I could chime in... I started this article and not for "political reasons". If you click on the geo coordinates you can see the actual dam on Google Maps. This may be a long shot but this article was in no way created to support ludacris Palestinian claims of Israel flooding their territory with dams.--NortyNort (Holla) 01:07, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi there. While the article was edited the previous day to add a picture[1], it was actually created almost a year ago with a different picture of that same dam already there.[2]. The very same picture of the dam (uploaded in 2008) is even on Yeruham's Hebrew Wiki page. While we definitely aren't trying to dismiss a local source of information, is it possible you're mistaken? If not, can you explain what the problem is a bit more? Swarm X 02:09, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
