It's unusual for new users to make their way to AFD so quickly. Is this your first account? --King Öomie 13:13, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes it is my first account. I was googling for the band to see if they had any upcoming shows, and clicked through to their wikipedia page. I saw the banner on the top about the deletion, and figured that I should weigh in, nothing more. Obviously I don't use my account much here, as the interface is pretty foreign to me. -- amalthya 13:13, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

File:TL2-Area.jpg edit

Hello, about your file File:TL2-Area.jpg, I deleted it because you had stated in your copyright description that it wasn't under a fully free license, but released under a permission only for Wikipedia. Also, there was no statement about a free release on the source page that you linked to. If the author is willing to release it under a license that allows anybody else to use it too, such as cc-by-sa, then I'll be more than happy to restore it. To have clear documentation, could you perhaps ask your friend if she could add a statement to that effect on her blog, or on her Flickr page, where the original is hosted? Fut.Perf. 14:12, 2 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for your note, and sorry I have to be a pain about this, but your friend apparently used the "non-commercial use only" version of the CC license. That's of course understandable if that's what she feels comfortable with, but unfortunately we here must insist on licenses that don't have this restriction. Do you think she would also settle for a "cc-by-sa"? Fut.Perf. 09:10, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Sorry I missed your last message on my page. I've restored the file now. Thanks for all your efforts and for your understanding. Regards, – Fut.Perf. 12:23, 10 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Emo Phillips and Kipleigh Brown edit

Hi. I have reverted your addition to these articles because you did not provide a source to show that they got married, and my own search failed to turn up a reliable source to confirm it. Please do not re-add this "fact" without a citation from a reliable source. Wikipedia takes sourcing very seriously, especially in the case of living persons. Thanks. April 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Wildlife of the Democratic Republic of the Congo may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
 • gorilla gorilla), the endangered Eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla berengei graueri), (African forest elephant(Loxodonta cyclotis), and okapi (Okapia johnstoni)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 13:29, 28 April 2mean,014 (UTC)
