Protection of Daily Kos page

edit

If you're trying to get that page protected, you should probably make your request over here I don't know if it's needed, but you might as well ask. Maximusveritas 01:42, 13 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please ask for protection if you want the page frozen. Don't revert war, and don't claim the foundation is reviewing the page, because if they were they would use WP:OFFICE. You're coming very close to claiming authority you do not have. --Dhartung | Talk 02:47, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
AlphaSnail, please defer to Dhartung's suggestion above. The simple fact is that the information in the Dkos article is no longer accurate; I appreciate you seem to be concerned for Armando's comfort, but I fail to understand why a simple and factually accurate correction that avoids any contentious comments should fall by the wayside. Life is not going to come to a halt because someone has ruffled feathers, nor because WP is allegedly "looking into the matter". It really is as simple as this: if WP really is looking into this matter, the page can and should be locked. The fact that it has not been clearly demonstratestome that no such claim is in process.
