You edited Edwin Hubble to show Nobel Prize in his honors. I'm assuming that you did that in good faith having perhaps misunderstood the previous section. As he was never awarded the Nobel Prize, I have removed this mistaken information for you.--Alkhowarizmi (talk) 15:05, 16 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello, Allen234. Thanks for your edit to the CBD Belapur article. However the text you have added CBD Belapur has a nice view in Sector 8b Area where in the rainy season the clouds look very beatiful and it looks like a hill station seems to be a Personal opinion and is not accepted on Wikipedia. What a minor edit is

edit

Please review Help:Minor edit. You have been designating "minor" edits that have substance and do not meet the accepted Wikipedia definition of "minor." For example, adding the sentence It was first observed by Jeremiah Horrocks to Transit of Venus, or adding a "known for" section to the infobox at Aristotle are definitely not minor. It will be helpful to other editors who may wish to build on your contributions or even refine or correct them, if the edits have not been "snuck in" as minor. Another editor has reverted your changes to Jeremiah Horrocks as vandalism; I'm not sure whether that was justified or not, but Wikipedia works on consensus, so it's best to be sure that dialogue (including on article talk pages) is fostered for anything that may be doubtful or controversial. Speedy deletion of Fool's medal

edit

A tag has been placed on Fool's medal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

December 2008

edit

Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Ernest Rutherford, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. [1] / edg 12:15, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Celestial mechanics, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Speedy deletion of Augustine Pinto

edit

A tag has been placed on Augustine Pinto requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable
