Tabletop games folks edit

Hi there! Thank you for putting some work into drafts for tabletop game designers. If you are ever interested in looking at existing drafts to work on, I have a number of my own existing drafts at User:BOZ/Draft pages, and a long list of deleted pages (drafts and articles) at User:BOZ/Games deletions#Designers and artists that can be restored if needed if you have the sources to improve them. Aside from those lists, I found a few other currently existing drafts for tabletop games people aside from your drafts (Draft:Giorgio De Michele (aka Erebus)., Draft:Johan Egerkrans, Draft:Joseph A. McCullough, Draft:Matthew Dawkins (author), namely). Any help you can lend anywhere would be awesome. :) BOZ (talk) 20:02, 20 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey there, I want to give you a more "official" and friendly welcome to Wikipedia. :) The above was more like ideas of what you could work on if you like, rather than an actual request for you to do anything. We ideally all treat this place as a collaborative environment, and everyone here chooses what they want to work on. You have chosen a tough area to work on, biographies of game designers, particularly indie designers, but you've got at least one draft article published which is an accomplishment in and of itself! That said, I respect your choice and hope you are able to get a lot accomplished in that area. I like to coordinate efforts between people, so if you can think of any way that I can be helpful in that, please let me know. My preferred area to work in is RPGs from the 1980s and 1990s as I have been the most successful finding sources for those. I have done some work on topics throughout the tabletop gaming industry, and I have definitely touched on topics related to indie RPGs, including getting the deleted articles on designers restored such as Vincent Baker and Meguey Baker (thanks for working on those!), Emily Care Boss, Joshua A.C. Newman, Clinton R. Nixon (wasn't deleted, but it almost was), Jared Sorensen, and Brennan Taylor (thanks for looking at that one also!), and starting articles on Rob Donoghue, Fred Hicks, Chad Underkoffler, and Matt Wilson (artist). I have started or contributed to many other gaming-related biographical articles, but nowadays I mostly write about the games themselves. BOZ (talk) 23:13, 21 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Thanks for the welcome! I could use some help finding additional reliable sources for my drafts on designers Avery Alder and Jeeyon Shim (if they're still not ready yet, I'm not sure). I also made a draft for Hit Point Press and could use some help filling in their publications (I think I found all the ones that there are articles about, but I'm not sure about that either). I like to play a lot of games from the Forge era and the current era (not sure what the current era is even called), so I'm trying to fill in some of Wikipedia's gaps. March 2023 edit

Hi Allcatsarebabes! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Draft:Jeeyon Shim that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
