Bad Girls Club S7 edit

I've reverted your blanking of this article in view of the notice on the article informing you and other editors that it's inappropriate to blank articles at AfD. Please discuss the disposition of the article there. Thanks, and drop me a line on my talk page if you have any questions. --je deckertalk 20:21, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I will do so, but if we already made a mutual understanding about the color boxes, why don't we show the ones already used? Alexgx (talk) 14:32, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please tell me why it is vandalism to show those notes. Alexgx (talk) 03:15, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Per the talk page, we've discussed that we will hid those notes because of the quality of the article. By removing the hidden texts, you are vandalizing the article. The notes section speaks on behalf and summarizes the duration of cast section, by adding repeated content will only hurt the articles chance at a good status. Copying content from one page to another edit

Hi. I noticed that you are splitting the article List of The Bad Girls Club episodes into subarticles. This is perfectly fine and probably a good idea when an article gets large, but for legal reasons you can't just copy it, you have to say where it came from. Material on Wikipedia is not public domain but is under a "copyleft" license. It's free for reuse here or anywhere as long as the licensing terms are met. One of those terms requires that you give credit to the authors through proper attribution.

The way this is done is by using edit summaries and the talk page. Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia gives you an in-depth explanation, but the brief steps to follow are this:

  • When you paste content into the page, your edit summary should say "content copied from [[source article]]"
  • If you remove content from the source page, your edit summary should say "content split to [[destination article]]"
  • If you paste more than a couple of sentences, you should add this template to the talk page of the destination article: {{copied|from=source article|to=destination article|diff=url of the page when you pasted the content}}. There are additional parameters you can put into that template, including the date into which you copied the content. But those are the basics. :)
  • It's also a good idea to put that same template on the talk page of the source article. We can't ever delete that source article as long as the content is still being used.

I've corrected the attribution at List of The Bad Girls Club episodes (season 6). You can see the edit summary at [1]. You can also see the templates at Talk:List of The Bad Girls Club episodes (season 6) and Talk:List of The Bad Girls Club episodes. If you've ever copied content from one article to another, even if it was a long time ago, please make sure that you attribute it fully.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of this. I'll be watching your talk page for a time for a reply; you're also welcome to come by mine. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:23, 28 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Bad Girls Club: New Orleans edit

Alex could you please stop changing the title of The Bad Girls Club (season 7) in the infobox? The show's title is Bad Girls Club: New Orleans. Thanks. —Mike Allen 23:37, 8 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Check the title for in the infobox for The Bad Girls Club (season 5). It's Bad Girls Club: Miami, but it says The Bad Girls Club (season 5). Alexgx (talk) 00:34, 10 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
It should also be Bad Girls Club: Miami. I don't frequent the other articles. —Mike Allen 00:56, 10 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Tip try not adding any social-networking sites as a reliable source. Take care, AJona1992 (talk) 03:38, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2011 edit

Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring after a review of the reverts you have made on The Bad Girls Club (season 7). Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 14:36, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I made an WP:AN/I that involved a different user and had mention you. Just leaving a note :) Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 21:16, 15 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too (season 3), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kailua (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
