Competence in English prose is required to edit the English Wikipedia edit

Hi, new editor, I notice that Cluebot is reverting a lot of your edits. Cluebot does not act with malice, as it is a bot, and finds your edits somewhat incomprehensible, as do I. You seem to have learned your English on the street, or by texting. You haven't used any punctuation yet, either. If you cannot match your prose in article edits to match the formal style and fluency of the article you are editing, problems may arise, and for that reason, you will get warning messages on your talk page. If English prose is that much of a challenge to you, perhaps you have another language in which you are both literate and more fluent? Wikipedia has over a hundred versions in various languages. Perhaps one of those languages is yours.--Quisqualis (talk) 05:18, 12 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Alexander The king ! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Question, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

It has been two years, but you were never notified so maybe this will still be helpful.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 22:07, 30 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
