Changing the order of the schools in Kentucky–Louisville rivalry edit

I noticed that you keep changing the order of the schools in the Kentucky–Louisville rivalry article. The schools are listed in the same order as they are in the article title, and that is because it is alphabetical order. For other examples, see Category:College basketball rivalries in the United States, and you will see that almost all of the article titles list the schools in alphabetical order. Please find something more constructive to do in wikipedia, I am sure that some other articles that you may be interested in need improving. Thanks. --rogerd (talk) 19:21, 21 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I can agree with that, the logo you are using looks better. --rogerd (talk) 20:18, 21 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Louisville Cardinals men's basketball edit

I assume you know that your assertions in this diff are wrong, and that these accomplishments have been vacated? --Hammersoft (talk) 17:40, 22 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up but if you want to remove those, then you will need to go to every page and remove every schools vacated wins. I am not saying they aren't vacated, so if you want put vacated by them then go ahead, but know if you delete anything from this page I will bring it back. So save us both some trouble and just write vacated beside anything that you have a problem with. People still like to go to Wikipedia to see what happened every year even if its vacated, so stop deleting everything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex22406 (talkcontribs)

  • Nobody "has" to do anything on this project. It's entirely volunteer. If someone choose to correct your entries on one page, they are not required to make similar changes elsewhere. Similarly, they do not have to make all the changes in order to make one of them. We are a collaborative effort. Threatening to bring back inaccurate information is not the way forward. If you want to help resolve how best to present this information, I invite you to participate in this discussion, which is debating this very point. I'm sure you will provide some insightful commentary there; you would be most welcome. Best regards, --Hammersoft (talk) 18:11, 22 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I did not mean to come off threatening, but I was upset with inaccuracies and information taken away with in the past 48 hours. Thank you for directing me.

  • I've corrected this diff. Per the final decision on Louisville's appeal, their 2013 championship is vacated, and the school officially has two championships, not three. I also removed the commentary (not placed by you) regarding x number of championships in 38 years. The 38 years figure seems arbitrary, and would soon be out of date anyway. --Hammersoft (talk) 19:25, 23 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Signing your comments edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College Basketball, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  in the enhanced toolbar, or   if you use the old "classic" toolbar) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:35, 22 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
