Probability theory

If you're interested in probability theory, read about the Three Prisoners problem. That's easier to understand that the Monty Hall Problem, as it doesn't have two separate steps that may confuse students as to how probability should be evaluated - all actions in that problem happen as a single event. Monty Hall Problem

Following your recent change to Monty hall please consider this. Every reliable source says your assessment is incorrect. By my reading they would disagree with the opening of a door (2nd phase) redefine completely the game as a game with odds 50-50. There are two options, either every mathematician who has studied the problem is incompetent at maths or your assumption is wrong. If you believe the former then I suggest you perform some experiments to show that the odds are 50:50 and publish otherwise try considering that your assumption is wrong and see if the proposed solutions make sense with an open mind. I realized. Thank you. I'm not familiar with WP. Sorry. I focused the missleading element contained in the game and I wrote it in the Talk: section "The probability is 2/3. Where is the trick?". I hope it is useful for somebody who make the same error. Alessmaga (talk) 12:23, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
