Request reason:

Your blocking reason makes no sense. Yes it is about our company history. We are putting up an article regarding our company just to get it started since we have many people asking us why we don't have an article on Wiki. Just like every other company online. I am tired of trying on wiki since no attempt we do works. I cannot understand why except for your random tags. Hopefully someone else who is interested will take up this task since Wikipedia keeps deleting our article. I understand the username issue NOW, and will adopt a new one.

Decline reason:

You gave your own block reason just there with by saying "Our company". You may be surprised to hear that our motto is not "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can use to promote their company." We are not a general directory of companies, to have an article, a company has to be Notable and nothing you wrote in the article suggests that your company is. If the subject truly is notable, then eventually someone else will write about it — Jac16888 (talk) 17:58, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Ap header 01.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Ap header 01.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:05, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

A few things I should point out about your article.

- I moved if from Alerpay.com to AlertPay as this is the company name.
- I added an advert tag to it, because although it looks like a notable website (and certainly I will give you the benefit of the doubt, most others wont), you have written it just like an advert.
- It will need cleaned up a bit, to look a bit more wikipedia like.

Appart from that, all is good (to me). Cheers, Rysin3 17:20, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ap header 01.gif)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Ap header 01.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:13, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of AlertPay

edit

A tag has been placed on AlertPay requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lastingsmilledge (talk) 23:25, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. faithless (speak) 03:43, 14 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
