Ida institute edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ida institute, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.idainstitute.com/about_ida.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Ida institute edit

A tag has been placed on Ida institute, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Bk314159 (Talk to me and find out what I've done) 02:19, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello Wikipedia Team, I have been blocked for spam and advertising. Yes i would say that i was in fact using wikipedia in a totally wrong way... i was not aware if what i was doing. I work for Ida Institute- its a hearing NON PROFIT co-operation where professional audiologists should share knowledge how to help people with hearing loss. Im a new guy there and i waned to see if there is something written on Wikipedias website about the institute. unfortunately there was not a single line about this organization and then i ve decided to place some links. i wanned to place the links in the sections about audiology, where people might be interesting in visiting our site by seeing a our link. I m truly sorry and i apologize for any inconvenience because i was not aware of my spamming actions. Therefore i beg you to reactivate my account and i will NEVER repeat any similar behaviour on wikipedias website. I was irresponsible for not reading the terms and conditions in details. ALEX

Decline reason:

Provisionally declining. I greatly appreciate your contrition. However, I have some concerns. See below.--Chaser (talk) 22:10, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What articles are you interested in contributing to besides audiology ones? I'm worried about the conflict of interest, even for someone working for a non-profit entity. Alternatively, would you like to follow the instructions at Template:2nd chance for an audiology related article to demonstrate that you can edit audiology related articles in compliance with Wikipedia's neutrality policy? Either would assuage my concerns.--Chaser (talk) 22:02, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
