Hi Albionlass; may i ask where you got the information that Eleanor was the daughter of Alice de Lusignan rather than Joan of Acre? The latter seems to be fairly well attested: Though i don't have Altschull in front of me at the moment i'm pretty sure he calls Joan her mother; the Mediæval Lands project at the Foundation for Mediæval Genealogy here shows Joan, including quoting from the Tewkesbury Abbey Chronica de Fundatoribus et Fundatione that Elianoram, Elizabetham, et Margaretam were the three daughters of Joan. I see you have changed Eleanor herself, her father and her mother; i won't change back immediately, but can you please document your change? In Gilbert's article you added a source ("Family de Clare History"), but it's unclear what it is. Cheers, Lindsay 13:20, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
